With the news of the arrival of my daughter, I gave myself the task of investigating what could be done for this new creature impact of lower as possible to the planet. For a change, in Mexico we still have much to do in this aspect compared to other countries where there is a whole culture about raising babies ecological or "green." There are people who do not care about their impact on the environment and frankly I find hard to understand this indifference. Irrigate all days the streets (STREET !!!!) in front of your house, wash the car every other day with the hose, do not use energy saving light bulbs that seem "ugly", etc ... Within this group there are people worse than not only not help but laugh at that if they do. Come to those concerned as "hippies hug trees " that disturb and complicate the lives of those who do not share their concern for the planet.
The arrival of a child is (in most cases) reason for happiness in a family, but also should be cause for reflection by parents about what it means for the planet one person ma s. Ideally, after of this reflection parents seek ways to minimize the possible resource consumption and waste generation will bring a new baby.
An attitude of respect for the planet from the moment your baby is born and continues as he grows will result in a respectful and caring person with the environment in the future.
