disease Fossilization of a business model: Reflections on Cinema

Accustomed as we are to stardom actors, directors, animators and other staff conducting films today we get to say Mr have starry but still do not know, but something smells.

is not for lack of quality in production, or lack of human talent (in the animations too much human talent), or by a current projection system, the model simply does not work.

In a world where we used to see (well not so much to see or watch) so many films, both films, which proved to be a dramatic and awe invention which was worth paying to get in to see why thousands of sensations and feelings films condensed in 2 hours (the format of 1 hour and a half is relatively recent to be more commercial) now no longer has the same "VALUE" .

With the advent of HD TV, and broadband, cinema is still spectacular but only for the romantic (I still remember with heartfelt emotion of my short pass on a big screen, and the feeling is cuasimágica).

I have become, it has become, we have become (do not care, the result will be the same), in a more consumer product not "worth" that may "pay" for it . Here we can indeed say that the price-value is not equivalent and is, I believe, the cause of the gradual disappearance of spectators in the theaters. Every time you go to the movies less, here and in countries where the laws "piracy" are tougher. The ship is sinking and disputes over who is to blame and not take it anywhere. Run for your lives!

is particularly interesting opinion piece (perhaps self-criticism) of Isabel Coixet Country which I highly recommend reading.

A greeting.
